Our Mission
Love God. Love People.
Move People Toward Jesus.
Love God.
Everything starts with Jesus
Jesus taught that the greatest commandment is to love God with all our heart, soul, mind, and strength. At Motion Church, we want to help people develop a real, growing relationship with Jesus that goes beyond Sunday morning and shapes every area of life.
We don't just want to know about Jesus. We want to know Jesus and become more like Him.

As a church family:
-
We gather weekly to worship Jesus, hear God's Word, and grow together.
-
We pursue Jesus throughout the week through prayer, Scripture, and community.
-
We learn to hear God's Word and obey it, because following Jesus requires action.
-
We seek to honor God with our whole lives—spiritually, emotionally, relationally, and physically.
Love People.
When we love God, it changes how we love people.
Jesus didn't call us to do life alone. He created us for community. At Motion Church, we are family. We want to build a church where people are known, cared for, encouraged, challenged, and supported as they follow Jesus.
We don't just attend church together.
We do life together.

As a church family:
-
We connect with our people weekly because we believe life is better together.
-
We build meaningful relationships through Groups in Motion, meals, workouts, gatherings, and everyday life.
-
We shepherd people toward their next step spiritually, relationally, emotionally, and physically.
-
We serve our neighbors and community with no strings attached.
-
We care for the whole person because people matter to God.
Move People Toward Jesus.
We believe everyone has a next step.
Jesus called His followers to make disciples, and that's why discipleship is motion. Whether someone is meeting Jesus for the first time or has followed Him for decades, none of us has arrived. God is continually calling us forward.
We aren't interested in simply building a crowd. We want to build disciples who move toward Jesus and help others do the same.

As a church family:
-
We help people take their next step toward Jesus.
-
We make disciples who are equipped to make other disciples.
-
We add and multiply by inviting others into what God is doing.
-
We meet both spiritual and practical needs in our community.
-
We develop and send leaders who can carry the Gospel into their homes, workplaces, schools, neighborhoods, and beyond.
-
We pursue becoming holy, whole, and healthy in every area of life.
